Peter Stokkebye Tobacco - Content Strategy and Creation

The Stokkebye family was a massive part of the Danish movement of pipe tobacco in the United States. Although the family had been making pipe tobacco for decades prior to bringing its blends stateside; it didn’t take long before they garnered a popular following in America.

Peter Stokkebye Tobacco needed to break into the digital sphere in a way that honored the legacy of the brand’s history as well as connected with fans in new and innovative ways. This required the development of social media strategy and a two-day session of high quality content creation focused on Stokkebye’s brand ambassador: the family’s own Max Stokkebye.

Responsibilities:

  • Developed social strategy by conceptualizing content thematics and pillars, capturing an authentic voice, and suggested posting schedules to position Max Stokkebye as the face of the brand.

  • Compiled mood boards, shot lists, and schedules for a smooth multi-day shoot.

  • Secured an on-premise location that fit the shoot’s needs.

  • Gathered the proper team and equipment.

  • Facilitated the shoot over the course of two days both on-premise and in-studio.

  • Created, conducted, and recorded an interview with Max Stokkebye to inform copy and content creation.

  • Maintained communication with the client over strategy both before and after production.
