Palladium Launch
Macanudo has long been known as the king of the cigar industry, but it has been in the past several years that it has wanted to rebrand itself in a way that broadcasts its quality and craft. Thus, the introduction of the Inspirado line. Initially debuting in European markets and later brought back to the United States, the Inspirado line is all about reinvention through complexity.
At the top of the Inspirado line is the annual limited edition Inspirado Palladium. This small-batch Macanudo is essential in revitalizing the brands’ image; so when the client approached us to create promotional content surrounding the annual rerelease of the cigar we were tasked with lionizing the artisanal values that make it so perfect: the near-extinct Tercio process.
Responsibilities:
Created a shot list and storyboards with directorial notes for the on-location production crew in the Dominican Republic.
Wrote the script to embody proper tonality and details for the project.
Auditioned, hired, and remotely directed voiceover talent.
Combed through footage and oversaw the editing process to ensure meeting the client’s needs.
Developed a strategy to support the launch with the creation of in-studio and on-location product video and photography.
